Merry Christmas 2021

Merry Christmas Sis!

I pray you enjoy your day with your loved ones. From the food to the gifts may you have a blessed day. However make sure that you give thanks and remember the Savior on today! Christmas is a great time to be with family, give gifts and receive them. However, Christmas isn’t about the gifts. It’s about the birth of the Savior. It’s the day we remember His birth.

Here are a few scriptures to keep in mind this Christmas as you celebrate, open gifts, live, laugh and love:

Isaiah 9:6-7 AMP

6 For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.

Matthew 1:21 AMP

She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.

Luke 2:6-7 AMP

6 While they were there [in Bethlehem], the time came for her to give birth, 7 and she gave birth to her Son, her firstborn; and she wrapped Him in [swaddling] cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no [private] room for them in the inn.

John 1:14 AMP

And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).

Matthew 6:19-21 AMP

19 “Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.

Before we end I want to say a short prayer for you sis:

Heavenly Father,
We come to you this morning, humbly as we know how, just to give You thanks for waking us up this morning and giving us new mercies today. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, our precious Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. We thank You for the opportunity to be with our loved ones today. We don’t take for granted the opportunity we have to open gifts. We pray for those who aren’t able to be with their loved ones, who are mourning their loved ones, who don’t have the ability to be warm on this day.
Father, we take nothing for granted. We honor You today and we give thanks for this joyful holiday when we can celebrate our Savior and His love for us. We pray for those who don’t know Him to be exposed to His love. May every person be covered as they travel to and from home today. With joy we pray in Jesus’ precious and holy name, Amen

Merry Christmas again & happy holidays sis!
